Did you know almost 50% of all business graduates begin their career in sales? And that the Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates indicate that Georgia will have more than 21,000 sales jobs each year and the US as a whole will have over 100,000?

Professional sales is a growing, thriving field and the Center for Professional Selling is poised to be a major part in producing the next generation of sales leaders.

Thoughtful, respectful, knowledgeable, and responsive people who are able to guide individuals and businesses through complex purchases—that’s professional sales, a rewarding field that always has many openings and offers great potential for growth and success.

Kaila Gibson"When I declared Professional Sales as my major, I thought that it would be like any other major and I honestly was ready to be finished with school and graduated.  Little did I know that this program, the professors, and other students within it, would have an everlasting impact on my life.  The CPS is not just an ordinary college program - it is a family.  In this program, I learned how I can truly help my clients and their businesses reach maximum productivity and profitability. I learned that I can truly help corporations reach their goals and initiatives through my professional selling. It taught me the sales skills that I needed to hit the ground running and start a successful career right after graduation. I was able to network and build relationships with so many influential people whom I otherwise would have never known. I have no doubt that without the CPS, I would not be even half as successful as I am now. I owe all of my current and future success to the professors in this program who have a love for the career-path of sales and have a true passion for the Center and the students within it. They believed in me and supported me personally and professionally, and they remain mentors to me even after graduation. I have made lifelong friendships and memories through the CPS, and being involved within it is by far the best decision I have made thus far in life."
