Grammy Museum names KSU university affiliate

KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 2, 2015) —

Kennesaw State University’s Joel A. Katz Music and Entertainment Business (MEBUS) program was named an official university affiliate of the Grammy Museum at L.A. LIVE.

KSU is one of only four institutions across the country named so far this year.

According to KSU, as an university affiliate of the Grammy Museum, the MEBUS program will get access to museum content for educational purposes, curriculum resources, research programs, internship opportunities, professional development seminars, collaborative marketing, promotions and project-based learning.

KSU is one of eight institutions inducted into the Grammy Museum University Affiliate program since it launched in 2014.

The Grammy Museum is an independent, nonprofit organization created as a partnership between The Recording Academy and Anschutz Entertainment Group.

The MEBUS program is a joint venture between the Coles College of Business and the College of the Arts. Katz is Billboard magazine’s No. 1-ranked entertainment attorney in the United States and founder of the MEBUS program, the university reported.
