Evening MBA FAQs

Get all of your questions answered about the Evening MBA program at Kennesaw State University's Coles College of Business!

  • Set up student email and Owl Express accounts as instructed in email from admissions, send in immunization and lawful presence documents, start working on your prerequisite modules, and complete paperwork to secure funds for your studies if using federal loans or company education benefits.

  • Your KSU ID number is the nine-digit number assigned to you when you applied to the program, beginning with “000” or “001.” You can look up your KSU ID number here.
  • Your net ID is the beginning portion of your email address that comes before the @ sign. You can look up your netID here.
  • The full KSU ID number followed by the last four of your SSN with KSU at the end.
  • Go to Owl Express and log in with your net ID and password created when you activated your net ID.
  • Click here to navigate to D2L Brightspace, your learning management system here at KSU. You’ll log in with your net ID and password.
  • Once your net ID is activated and you have created a password, go to MyKSU, scroll to the Student Email section of page, and click on Login. Enter your NetID@kennesaw.edu and password to proceed..
  • Registration time tickets are assigned by the Office of the Registrar each semester. You will be eligible to register for courses on the day/time as outlined in your ticket. You can find what’s available on our website, as well as both search for and physically register for courses in OwlExpress.   • You can see what type of hold is on your account in Owl Express under the Registration tab. If you are unsure of what this hold means or how to remove it, please consult Stacy Schutte.

  • The Graduate Academic Catalog based on your academic year of enrollment will outline all required courses and academic policies/procedures related to your journey as an MBA student. You will utilize the DegreeWorks function of OwlExpress along the way to see what coursework you have completed, what you have in progress and to see what’s outstanding to complete your program’s requirements. Depending on your declared concentration, your core/elective balance and academic plan may look different than one of your peers. It’s a great habit to connect with your advisor each semester to ensure you are communicating.

  • You will be notified through email communication when your orientation is set to take place. It is typically held a few weeks out from the start of the semester on a Monday evening here at the KSU Center. You will need to pay your $100 MBA New Student Enrollment Fee prior to attending orientation.
  • Payment deadlines will be posted on the academic calendar for each term.
  • No, but it is always an option. You will be in a better position to make registration decisions after speaking with your advisor.
