Celebrating Family Business

Georgia Family Business of the Year Awards

Since 1992 the Cox Family Enterprise Center has recognized and honored family businesses throughout the state of Georgia with the Georgia Family Business of the Year Awards. Through 2015 honors were given in three categories: Small – Under 50 employees; Medium – 51 to 249 employees; Large – Over 250 employees. In 1999 we added the very special Cox Century Award to be given to family business 100, or more years, in operation. In 2019 – Careful thought was given reclassifying the Awards to highlight behaviors in lieu of company size, and recognizing the importance of Professional Advisors to their Family Business clients by the creation of a Professional Advisors Award.
