Registration is now open for the 2024 National Hybrid Schools Conference, April 19 - 20, 2024. The conference will provide: 

  • Networking and idea-sharing among hybrid home school leaders, educators, policymakers, and researchers;

  • The promotion of academic research on these types of schools;

  • Practical discussions of the issues involved with starting hybrid homeschools and microschools;

  • A platform for other parties interested in education choice generally, as hybrid home schools are perhaps the most independent, creative, and cutting edge sector of the education choice universe.

2024 National Hybrid Schools Conference Registration Now Open!

We are thrilled to extend a warm welcome back and we invite you to join us for what promises to be an enriching and educational experience. Whether you're a returning participant or new to our community, the National Hybrid Schools Conference is the perfect opportunity to connect with industry peers, gain valuable insights, and contribute to meaningful discussions.

All conference sessions/events will again be held at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly. The conference will begin with a dinner reception on Friday evening (4/19), and conclude no later than 5pm on Saturday (4/20).

2024 Registration Fees:

General Conference Registration - $60/pp

Hybrid School Society Member Rate - $40/pp (See registration link in our Mighty Networks group)

General Conference Registration

Hotel

We have secured a discounted block of rooms at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel & Conference Center. The group room rate is $189/night with parking also discounted to $15/night for those booked in the group block. Attendees are highly encouraged to book in the conference block, as this helps us to meet our contractual obligations and keep conference registration fees to a minimum. The deadline to book your hotel room at this discounted group rate is Monday, March 25.

Travel Support Application

If you or someone you know is in need of travel assistance in order to attend the 2024 conference, we encourage applying for a travel grant. The application deadline is February 9, 2024. Applications will be reviewed by the travel grants committee, and priority will be given to attendees who have no alternative funding source to offset the cost of attending the conference. Successful applicants will be notified by the selection committee via email by March 1, 2024, and grant funds will be disbursed approximately 30 days after the conference. 

*Registrations are non-refundable. Please do not submit a paid conference registration if you have applied for travel support.

Interested in becoming one of our 2024 conference supporters? Spots are limited!  Please email Eric Wearne at hybridschools@kennesaw.edu with a short summary of your affiliation (or potential affiliation) with hybrid schooling and what level of sponsorship you are interested in.

Exhibitors: Please submit the approximate dimensions of your exhibit space for approval. Please note, power is not included in the exhibit space. For power or other AV needs, we will be happy to connect you with the AV representative from the hotel. 

Supporter Registration/Hotel - for registrations/hotel rooms included in your sponsorship package, conference staff will be in touch to register you for the conference and confirm hotel reservations.
