Degree Requirements
In order to receive a BBA with a major in Finance, you must meet KSU’s requirements for the degree and major as listed in your KSU Undergraduate Catalog. The Catalog you must follow is generally based on your “matriculation date” - the date you started at KSU. You may choose to use any later Catalog if you wish. Also, you are required to use a Catalog that is not more than 10 years old when you graduate.

The Business Undergraduate Advising Center has prepared “checksheets” for each major to summarize the courses you are required to take and some of the basic rules you must follow. Referring to these checksheets does not eliminate your responsibility for following all the rules in your Catalog. The checksheets may be picked up at any time from the display racks in the waiting area of the Advising Center (BB 431). Be sure to pick the checksheets that match the Catalog year you must use. Department of Economics, Finance, & Quantitative Analysis

In addition to the Finance major and all FIN courses, the Department of Economics, Finance, & Quantitative Analysis is responsible for RE courses, INS courses, ECON courses, the Economics major, the Economics minor, and the Finance minor.
Most of the professors in this Department have their offices on the third floor of the Burruss Building. A listing of the faculty is available in the “Departments and Faculty” section of this website.
