The Corporate Partners Program is an opportunity for you to invest in the lives of sales students, which in turn, is an investment in the future of professional selling. As a Corporate Partner, you will develop professional relationships with top sales students who have chosen sales as a career. These special relationships allow you to view students in various sales-related situations and acquaint them with your organization. The success of the CPS depends greatly on our corporate partners. Other benefits include:

Connections with Top Sales Students

The Corporate Partners program provides ample opportunity for one-on-one interaction between Corporate Partners and students. Not only do Corporate Partners have firsthand access to some of the top sales students in the nation, but they are also able to see the students in action during role-play sales calls.

Reduced Training Time

We do the training, so you don’t have to! The CPS provides top of the line, hands-on training for students, which reduces the amount of training your company must provide. The extensive CPS training also reduces the amount of time required for a new hire to become a profitable asset to your company.

Reduced Turnover

CPS students have a firsthand understanding of what it takes to be a sales professional. Our students do not view sales as a stepping stone; their aspiration is a career in sales.

Opportunities for Sales Professionals

Corporate partners are invited to attend professional sales training courses and seminars, which are offered on a regular basis for both salespeople and their managers.

Internship Opportunities

Corporate Partners provide internship opportunities for students.

Annual Center for Professional Selling Sales Competition

Corporate Partners judge our annual student sales competition. Winners represent KSU in the National Collegiate Sales Competition held each spring on our campus.

Partners Advisory Board

Corporate Partners sit on the CPS Advisory Board. The Board meets twice each year to offer insights into curriculum issues and the programs of the CPS.

Guest Lectures

Corporate Partners will be asked to give a guest lecture annually in one of our sales classes or in the CPS lecture series.
