International business is an interdisciplinary major that combines multiple areas of study, including the liberal arts, business, and international culture and practices. Our International Business Major provides you with a well-rounded education and the knowledge and skills you need for success on a global scale.
To be a competitive candidate in the workforce, you must be skilled in business knowledge and operations that extend beyond the borders of the United States. The Coles College of Business helps you learn the practical and up-to-date skills that businesses need to be competitive in a global marketplace.
In addition to being ready for immediate entry into the workforce, your degree and international experience will prepare you to be a competitive candidate for graduate school admission.
The International Business Major is one that spans all departments in the Coles College of Business. In addition to taking classes in accounting, economics, finance, information systems, management and marketing, you will take at least 4 language courses and complete at least 2 courses in a study abroad program.
