Urban Enterprise Initiative

Vision & Mission

The mission of the Urban Enterprise Initiative includes 2 parts:

1. Education:
General education for the public at large. This constituency is not necessarily well versed in family business dynamics and strategy. It includes sponsors, professional service providers and Initiative participants. Business Entrepreneurs - This constituency is the primary candidate to participate in the Initiative. Education methods include one-on-one, workshops, seminars, reading, lectures, meetings, and more.

2. Resource Network:
Each participant has a personalized process to make the best use of the many resources in the network of the Urban Enterprise Initiative. Participants are linked to appropriate professional service providers, to each other, to entrepreneurial families, and to the Family Enterprise Center. Specifically, the Urban Enterprise Initiative provides participants with knowledge, attitudes, and skills associated with successful entrepreneurship.
