Welcome to the requirements page for the Boy Scouts Entrepreneurship Merit Badge

The KSU Students in Free Enterprise Entrepreneurship Merit Badge Web Page is a gift to the Boy Scouts of America. It contains useful information about entrepreneurship and a step-by-step guide for both scouts and merit badge counselors to the requirements for the merit badge. It also is information rich in that it links to web sites that should be of assistance to anyone pursuing the merit badge.

The requirements for the merit badge are listed here.

The web page is a creative and innovative internet project that is:
1. a teaching and communications vehicle to reach youth aged 11-18.
2. an electronic commerce site that teaches potential entrepreneurs and small business owners how to take advantage of the internet.
3.reaches a targeted audience with very specific, useful information.

The counter on the page measures the number of people who access the site. The site will also be cross listed on most of the current sites that direct scouts to information in the various merit badge areas. The site is open to all and meets the University requirement that SIFE team activities be open to all regardless of sex, race, national origin, ability and/or sexual orientation. Girls in the Explorer Scout program are eligible to earn the merit badge.
