The goal of this merit badge is that the scout will not only have a patch sewn to their sash, but also that he will walk away with a clear understanding of how business works fiscally, legally, and ethically. Businesses will function in a variety of ways. Your goal is that you will understand, if only on a superficial level, these ways. We also hope that you will understand why businesses are run in these ways.
