Coles Online MBA Ranked Top Pick For Veterans

KENNESAW, Ga. (Jul 1, 2015) — The online MBA program at Kennesaw State University’s Michael J. Coles College of Business tied for 25th place nationally in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 “Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans” rankings.

Kennesaw State, one of only two Georgia universities on the list, is the higher ranked.

"KSU and the Coles College of Business are committed to serving our veterans who have so admirably served us,” said Kathy Schwaig, dean of the Coles College. “Our online MBA provides an exceptional graduate experience for veterans, and we further support them by actively promoting their enrollment in our program to potential employers."

According to U.S. News & World Report, veterans and active-duty service members excel when distance education is affordable, accessible and reputable. Coles College online MBA is self-paced, competitively priced, carries AACSB accreditation, and is certified for the GI Bill and the Yellow Ribbon Program.

“As a Servicemembers Opportunity College (SOC), our online programs are centered on offering meaningful learning experiences in flexible formats for adult and military learners,” said Elke Leeds, assistant vice president of technology enhanced learning. “The WebMBA delivers high-quality content, talented graduate faculty and learner-centered courses that optimize our student's commitment of time and resources.”

Program reputation, faculty credentials, retention rates and graduate debt loads factored into the rankings. Schools must place among the top 75 percent in U.S. News & World Report’s 2015 Best Online Programs rankings to be eligible for the list.

Kennesaw State University is rapidly earning a reputation for its accessibility and dedication to veterans. In 2014, KSU was named among the nation’s top schools for veterans by Military Times in its annual, Best for Vets: Colleges 2015.
