Dr. Alsup is on the front line of Executive MBA Admissions, coaching experienced professionals to make one of the major decisions of their personal and professional lives: where to obtain their MBA degree. This is the question pre-applicants ask me most often. In short, we're looking for executives who want to thrive in life, personally and professionally. Next, we're looking for the distinctive value you will bring to the Coles Executive MBA experiential classroom, your teammates, and how you will enrich the learning experience of your classmates.

Do seasoned executives really need to thrive personally and professionally?
Absolutely. Many executives think they have their life together and, at the surface they do.  However, as they advance through the Coles Executive MBA and become comfortable with digging a bit deeper, most agree that they are missing something either in their business acumen, in their personal life, or in both. At Coles we believe that a master manager is one who is willing to experience this deep digging, who wants to learn how to lead while being true to who they innately are while motivating others (authentic leadership) to achieve positive goals (functional teaming).
