Global Learning Teams

To truly know global business one must experience it first hand. Global business cannot be learned on a single exotic trip alone. This is why the Coles Executive MBA incorporates an interactive global experience for the majority of the program. In cooperation with The Institute for Business and Public Administration (ASEBUSS) we have created an exclusive global experience for Executive MBA students and faculty. Students will be assigned to a global team with students and faculty from the Executive MBA program in Bucharest, Romania at ASEBUSS.

Your global learning team is a unified global consultancy. In the GLOBAL BENCHMARKING project, you will work along with your cross-continent team via video conferencing, instant messaging, team room and e-mail to develop a global team communication and project plan. In the fall, you will travel to Bucharest, Romania and meet your team members in person for the first time. Later, you will host your global team in the States where you will practice and deliver your final project presentation.

* On-Site Corporate Executive MBA (e.g., BellSouth|Cingular Executive MBA) participants will experience two industry focused residencies during the program replacing the Global Experience module. However, BellSouth and Cingular have created a way for students to participate in the global experience using tuition reimbursement after students graduate.
