4th Annual Symposium on Executive Education

The editors of the Journal of Executive Education invite you to attend their 4th Annual Symposium on Executive Education to be held at the Executive Education Center at Kennesaw State University.

The Coles College Office of Executive Education Programs annually sponsors a Symposium at which members of both the academic and business communities share ideas addressing the dual interests of both groups. This unique format fosters the ultimate goal of business schools to meet the critical strategic needs of the businesses they intend to serve.
Morning
Joyce Bone, CEO and founder of JBE
Joyce is a speaker, author, and an entrepreneur and is the host of Inside the Winners’ Circle radio show. At age 28, Joyce set a goal to be a millionaire by the time she was 30. She took a $10,000 risk (all her savings) and co-founded EarthCare, an environmental company. It grew into a $125 million dollar NASDAQ traded powerhouse and Joyce achieved her goal six months early. As a nationally recognized expert in business, Joyce has appeared on CNBC’s The Squawk Box, and in Money, Kiplinger magazines, been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, SBA national SCORE and dozens of others.
Her messages are crafted to entertain as it empowers, inspires and motivates the audience with real change actionable items to improve performance, all in a light hearted, entertaining way.

David Lamb, David has extensive experience in establishing and leading Learning functions… both as a corporate leader and as a learning strategy consultant. He has led or been a member of the senior leadership team of six corporate universities (Rollins/Orkin, Inc., BellSouth, Bank of Montreal/Harris Bank, Aetna, ADP and General Motors). His consulting clients include Amazon.com, Barclays, General Motors and Raytheon.

Call for Papers & Submission Guidelines
The editors of the Journal of Executive Education and the faculty of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University invite you to join business leaders and university scholars at their 4th annual Symposium on Executive Education: to be held, at the Executive and Graduate Education Center at Kennesaw State University, Kennesaw, Georgia, on Thursday, April 19, 2012.
The Symposium is unique in that it is specifically designed to create a forum for both university scholars and business executives to share ideas, thus helping to assure that educational programs indeed address the most critical strategic needs of the businesses for which they are intended to create value.
The theme of the 2012 Symposium is:
We welcome all topics of interest to academics
and program administrators
All Submissions must be sent as a MS-Word document, written in English, conforming to APA citation style (5th edition), and not previously published, or under consideration for publication, by another organization at the time of submission and throughout the review process.
Accepted papers will also be considered for inclusion in the double-blind reviewed 2011 Volume of the Journal of Executive Education, which is listed in the 11th Edition of Cabell's Directory.

The Journal of Executive Education (JEE) is published annually by the Office of Executive Education Programs of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University and is a double-blind peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal. It promotes dialogue, research, practice, and policy pertaining to all aspects of mid-career continuous learning. In addition to scholarly works from academic professionals, the JEE also features articles from business executives in a unique "Corporate Perspectives" section, as well as book reviews.

Take I-75 North to exit 271, Chastain Road. Go east on Chastain Road to the traffic light at Busbee Drive, turn right. Proceed to the third drive and turn right. This will be the first entrance to the KSU Center. Drive to the right-hand side of the building and park at the North Entrance.
