Designed for those actively managing/supervising others or about to do so, the Certified Managerial Coaching Program (CMC) is a nine-day program which uniquely blends instruction in leadership and coaching competencies with a supervised practicum to assure effectiveness as a managerial coach.
Program Overview
With the unprecedented shift in the mix of generations in the workforce, as well as in the career-related expectations of both workers and their employers, coaching has become a truly strategic skill set needed to support employee development and management succession strategies. The Coles College Certified Managerial Coach Program is a distinctive nine-day program delivered by a combination of experienced university professors and professional coaches. It is designed specifically for individuals and organizations seeking flexibility of format and value-based content synchronized with their own leadership development philosophies and programs. A unique supervised coaching practicum – built into the curriculum -- assures that the participants' ability to effectively apply their newly acquired skills is maximized.
Format: The nine-day program can be delivered in variable formats and may be customized to meet specific strategic requirements of individual companies. A tenth day for demonstration of coaching is also scheduled.

Commitment of Participant Time:
- • Attendance at nine full days of classroom instruction, plus one day of demonstrated proficiency
- • 1.5 hours of personal coaching from program faculty
- • 16 hours of in-class supervised coaching
- • 1.5 hours of personal coaching supervision

Enrollment in the CMC Program is limited. To be assured of a seat in the next cohort, you must remit the non-refundable $250 registration fee no later than May 18, 2012, after which you will be notified of the remaining balance due (payable prior to the opening Program session on June 2, 2012).
