Professor Stella Sixing Xu joined the faculty of the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University in 2007 and the Coles EMBA faculty team in 2010. Professor Xu has taught Principles of Management, International Management, and International Entrepreneurship. She served as the Director of the China Business Study Abroad Program and has a wide range of international business experiences with multinational corporations in China and Africa. In 2008, She was invited to assist with the Governor's Mission to China, which focused on establishing economic and trade relations between Georgia and China. She began to serve as Manager for China Initiatives for the State of Georgia at the Georgia Department of Economic Development right after the State of Georgia China mission in 2008 while teaching part-time at Coles College of Business.
Professor Xu has translated and taught over 100 management training classes for Chinese government officials and has been the keynote speaker for many conferences, including the Georgia International Leadership Conference. She also served as Assistant Director for the North American Consortium for the Entrepreneurship Exchange Program, which involved six universities in Canada, Mexico, and the U.S. In addition, she serves on the Advisory Board of Directors of the Coles College, Board of Trustees for Georgia Perimeter College and since 2005 she has been a Sam Walton Free Enterprise Fellow. Professor Xu was named one of the 25 most influential Asians in Georgia in 2009 and 2010. |
