Howard is currently an Entrepreneur in Residence and a Board Member at Coles College, Kennesaw State University, where he teaches Strategic Management, Operations Management and Organizational Behavior. He is the former CEO and owner of Atlanta-based Monarch Wine Company, which he purchased as a leveraged-buyout in 1985 and recently sold to Todhunter International.

Howard earned his bachelors degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has spent 30 years managing businesses in the food industry. Career highlights include:

• President of Mayflower Restaurants- 90 full service units in 20 states.
• Group Vice President- Kane Miller Corp-responsible for Margarine, Peanut Butter (Superman Brand), vegetable farming, vegetable canning/processing and wine subsidiaries.

In addition to being Entrepreneur in Residence, Howard also works as a business consultant in New York and Atlanta.
