Dr. Stefano Mazzotta joined the faculty at Kennesaw State University in 2005. He earned his Ph.D. with a specialization in Finance from McGill University in 2005. His research interests are in international finance¸ volatility and risk management¸ and applied Econometrics.

Dr. Mazzotta received a European Finance Association Best Paper Award 2004 from Inquire Europe and Inquire UK. He also has ongoing research projects with the European Central Bank. Prior to his academic career¸ Dr. Mazzotta worked for several years as a financial journalist and business consultant in Japan.
