Jason Knope is a part-time instructor of finance at the Michael J. Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University.

In addition to his association with the university, Jason is the director of research for an Atlanta-based investment management firm, responsible for equity and fixed income analysis and security trading.

Prior to his current position, Jason worked as an equity research analyst covering retail, energy, utilities and transportation sectors at various times during his career.

In addition to his research experience, Jason served as a portfolio manager for a registered investment advisory firm, managing large individual and institutional accounts.

He earned both a B.S. in Business Administration and M.S. in Finance from Louisiana State University. Jason holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician designations.
