The accounting profession is currently experiencing unprecedented change.  The result is an increased demand for highly qualified professionals that can meet the challenges of a dynamic marketplace. Today's accountant is a critical member of the organization, using their business expertise, communication, and interpersonal skills as well as their accounting skills to improve decision-making throughout the organization. Our graduates are recruited by numerous CPA firms and corporations in the region.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the School of Accountancy at Kennesaw State University is to be a thought leader in the accounting field and to prepare students for careers in public, management, corporate, and governmental accounting. Our faculty is committed to providing the flexibility to accommodate traditional and non-traditional students.

We are the proud home of over 30 full-time faculty and staff with thousands of KSU accounting alumni.

At KSU, we offer a variety of flexible undergraduate and graduate-level degree programs and courses to meet the specific needs of our students. Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), our accounting curriculum develops competence in a broad range of accounting skills and practices. It also helps students to develop their written and oral communication skills, teamwork and critical thinking skills, and provides a sound understanding of the legal and regulatory environments. We offer a BBA in Accounting as well as a Master of Accounting (MAcc).

Accountancy Faculty

Members of our accounting faculty are actively engaged in academic research, community service, and international activities. Our highest professional responsibility, however, is to our students. Our classes are challenging and current, and our faculty members are available for extensive interaction with students.

We maintain corporate relations to help place our students in internships and in challenging professional positions. Frequent corporate recruiters include Ernst and Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Grant Thornton, Deloitte & Touche, and KPMG.

Whether your goals include a career in private industry, public accounting, government, or not-for-profit, the accounting program at KSU will provide you with the education you need for a successful and fulfilling future. There has never been a more exciting and challenging time to be in the accounting profession. Let us help you prepare for your very rewarding career.
