In a book published in 2013, Sridhar Ramamoorti, associate professor of Accountancy in the Coles College of Business, and his colleagues examined how chief executive officers, chief financial officers, and chief audit executives communicate. Ramamoorti said he was surprised by how the intensity of the candid communication among CEOs, CFOs, and CAEs predicted superior corporate performance.
