Undergraduate Programs

The undergraduate program in the Coles College of Business prepares students for careers in business, government and non-profit organizations.

The student is first educated to assume responsibility through an understanding of national and international environments.  This is achieved through the study of General Education Core of courses.  After achieving this basic understanding of the environment and the nature and responsibility to society, the student is ready to pursue professional training in business administration.

The lower and upper-division program of study presents students with a broad foundation of knowledge, skills and attitudes in the functional areas of business including accounting, economics, finance, management, marketing and professional sales.  After completing both the lower and upper division of courses, the student applies for admission into the Professional Program.  Within a major, the student acquires specialized knowledge and skills.  Emphasis is placed upon the following goals: ethics, critical thinking, interaction, technology, resource management and perspectives.

Students are provided fundamental tools as well as knowledge and skills that will result in the degree, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).  [NEW! Online BBA Program]
