Dr. Campbell is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State University.  She holds a PhD in organizational behavior from the University of Georgia, a M.A. in psychology from the UNC-Chapel Hill, and a BBA in economics/business and psychology from Lafayette College. 

 

Dr. Campbell has taught at the University of Georgia and UNC-Chapel Hill.  Her recent teaching has been in Leadership and Teams, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resource Management.  Her primary research is focused in two areas: 1) leadership, including charismatic leadership and the leader-follower relationship; and 2) employee retention/withdrawal and understanding the factors that influence individuals’ desire and ability to leave or not leave their organizations.  Dr. Campbell’s work has appeared in the Leadership Quarterly and the Journal of Social and Personality Psychology.  She has presented papers at the annual meetings of the Academy of Management¸ the Southern Management Association¸ and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

 

Prior to her doctoral studies¸ Dr. Campbell worked as a management consultant for KPMG consulting and more recently, the Atlanta-based consulting firm, The North Highland Company, in their change management practice.
