Mr. Serkedakis is an Instructor of Marketing in the Marketing and Professional Sales Department.  His teaching responsibilities span the curriculum offered by the Department.  He particularly enjoys the opportunity to expose students to the practical aspects of Marketing and Professional Sales.

He comes to that position with over 30 years of business, real estate, marketing¸ sales and engineering experience. He has worked for and consulted with fortune 1000 companies including Lockheed Martin, AT&T, NCR and PUBLIX. He has also worked with numerous small and emerging enterprises, including the family real estate business, Century 21 Across Atlanta.  His working purpose is to bring common sense, academics and experience to students and clients.

Mike has a Master’s and Bachelor’s from the Georgia State University. He also achieved an A.E. from Southern Polytechnic and State University and a Master’s Certificate from George Washington University in Project Management.  He has completed numerous career courses in real estate and is a Realtor.  He has over 10 years teaching experience that began with Chattahoochee Technical College in 1995 and included an opportunity to teach in the Magnet Program at Kennesaw Mountain High School. 

Mike is a member of the Cobb Chamber of Commerce and has served as a Director and completed the Leadership Cobb program.  He has also served on The Center for Family Resources board for 11 years and as it chair two years.  Currently he is a member of the Kennesaw Development Authority and has served as Chair for six years.  He has also served the U.S. and Georgia Jaycees in numerous capacities.  He coached youth football and baseball for 14 years.  Mr. Serkedakis is married to Sharon and has four adult children, Michelle, Tony, Heather and Megan. He happily enjoys his seven grand-children: Brandon, Hunter, John Robert, Faith, Alaine, Lucy and Max, their mountain cabin, Harleys and hunting.   They live in Kennesaw, Ga.
