Professor Morris earned her Master of Professional Accountancy degree from Georgia State University. Following two years as an auditor with KMG Main Hurdman (KPMG Peat Marwick) CPAs¸ she joined the Coles College faculty in 1981. Her academic areas of interest are financial reporting and financial statement auditing for businesses, governments, and not-for-profit organizations. She concentrates her service efforts in instructional development and innovation as well as student advising.  Her current research relates to financial reporting. She is a CPA and a member of the AICPA and the Georgia Society of CPAs.
