Jomon Paul's primary research interests include application of Operations research and GIS in disaster management, statistical and simulation modeling of hospitals and airport security systems.

He is currently working on planning for both natural and manmade disasters. He is an ASQ certified Six Sigma Black Belt. He has done a number of lean six sigma quality improvement projects in hospitals to improve patient care delivery and hospital throughput.
