Dr. Michael S. Salvador is currently Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Department of Leadership and Professional Development. In this role, he has overall responsibilities for the development and delivery of all executive educational programs offered by Coles College, including their award-winning Executive MBA Program.
Dr. Salvador’s management consulting career spans over 35 years, including 19 years with Ernst & Young where he directed consulting practices in four major U.S. cities and served three years as a National Partner and member of the firm’s Management Committee overseeing the strategic, organizational, and operations management practices of the U.S. firm. His other positions include, in chronological sequence prior to joining the Coles College, Regional Professional Services Manager for Dun & Bradstreet Software Services (DBS); International Director of Strategic Alliances for DBS; President and CEO of The Atlanta Consulting Group; Managing VP – Organizational Consulting for Right Management Consultants; Practice Leader – Human Capital Management at the Thomas Group, Inc.; Co-Managing Partner and COO of Tatum CIO Partners; Founder and CEO of MSCounselors; and Global Product Manager for The International Center for Executive Options, a unit of Drake Beam Morin, Inc.
Dr. Salvador has advised companies and individuals on a broad range of issues, with particular emphasis on human capital and career management, business strategy, mergers and acquisitions, development of business-to-business strategic alliances, operations improvement, and business process change. He holds a B.S. Degree in Mathematics from Loyola University (New Orleans), and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Management Sciences from Case Western Reserve University.
