He taught at Louisiana State University¸ Western Illinois University¸ Eastern Illinois University¸ and Texas A&M International University where he was chair of Management and Marketing Department and Interim Dean of College of Business and Graduate School of International Trade. He has received research awards from three different universities. He was a visiting faculty in the Executive MBA program of Monash University¸ Melbourne¸ Australia. He served as a Fulbright Senior Scholar with Western University in Baku¸ the Republic of Azerbaijan¸ and was a Fulbright Senior Specialist assisting the International Academy of Business in Alma Ata¸ Kazakhstan. Primarily he teaches International Management¸ but the other course he has taught include Strategy/Policy¸ Organizational Behavior¸ Organization Theory¸ Management Principles¸ Human Resource Management¸ and Introduction to Business Administration.Dr. Fatehi has published in a number of scholarly journals including Journal of Business Research¸ Journal of Management¸ Journal of Management in Practice¸ Journal of Economic Behavior¸ Employee Relations Law Journal¸ Industrial Management¸ Managerial Planning¸ International Journal of Management¸ International Journal of Human Resource Development and Management¸ and International Executive. His research interests are cross–cultural management¸ corporate mergers¸ and political risk. He has served on the editorial boards of five scholarly journals. He is the author of International Management: A Cross–Cultural and Functional Perspective¸ published by Prentice Hall. In his teaching and research he draws from years of managerial and consulting experience¸ including an assignment with the Russian Privatization Center¸ Moscow¸ Russia.
