He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Maryland and a M.A. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
As an applied microeconomic theorist¸ his research focuses on auctions¸ bargaining¸ and game theory. He has published articles in Contributions to Economic Analysis & Policy¸ Journal of Regulatory Economics¸ and Environmental and Resource Economics.
