Jim Wermert is a seasoned health industry executive with over thirty years of experience. During his career, he has been a strategic planning consultant, founded two new concept health industry companies, and worked closely with the founders of several others.  His work has taken him to 46 states and over 40 countries.

Mr. Wermert currently provides business development, strategy/planning consulting, and organizational design and development services to a number of companies in the health services and pharmaceutical industries.  He has been a consulting Partner with APM (acquired by CSC), a founder of Healthspring, Inc. (acquired by United Healthcare), CEO and founder of Healthplan Management Services, Inc. (a subsidiary of John Hancock Financial Services), a Regional Vice President of American Medical International (now Tenet), and a Principal with Kurt Salmon Associates.
