James E. Honkisz, JD, has been a member of the support faculty at Kennesaw State University since 2004, teaching a section of BLAW 2200 and BLAW 4600, International Business Law, to undergraduates in the Michael J. Coles College of Business.
For twenty-three years, he practiced as a corporate attorney with The Coca-Cola Company in positions in the US and abroad that included Senior Antitrust Counsel, Division Counsel for Northern Europe, General Counsel of the joint venture Coca-Cola Nestle Refreshments and Group Counsel for Latin America.
Predating that, he was a litigation associate with the law firm of Mayer, Brown & Platt in Chicago, Illinois.
Mr. Honkisz received his Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude from Harvard University and his JD cum laude from The University of Chicago Law School, where he was also elected a member of The Order of the Coif. He is a member of the Illinois and Georgia bars and the American Bar Association Antitrust and International Law Sections.
