Georgia has over fifteen years telecommunications industry experience. She was on the management team of Verizon. Prior to that she held positions as manager for the team that merged Bell Atlantic and GTE. While with GTE she held positions as a General Sales Manager¸ a Call Center and Customer Service Manager¸ an Operations Manager¸ and several staff positions in Human Resources. During her corporate tenure Georgia was nominated and selected for numerous awards including the Chairman’s Leadership Award¸ the President’s Award¸ Circle of Excellence¸ and Top Market Manager award.
In addition to her corporate experience¸ Georgia has also had worked for three major universities including the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia as the Director of MBA Career Services¸ The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University as the Assistant Director of MBA Career Services and at Vanderbilt University as a Career Counselor.
While pursuing her Master’s Degree¸ she studied career guidance in England¸ Germany¸ and Switzerland. She has published her thesis along with several articles in professional journals. Her consulting areas of interest include career development¸ strategic planning¸ and customer service.
