Debbie Benson joined Kennesaw State University in 2004 is an Adjunct Professor of Accounting.  Majoring in Accounting, Debbie earning her Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma.   She earned her Masters in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University.  Debbie brings with her over 25 years of experience in internal audit, corporate tax, human resources, process improvement methodologies, and financial analysis. 

Her experience spans the insurance, retail, and telecommunications industries.  She has developed and presented financial training courses for non-financial managers as well as professional development seminar sessions.  Debbie is a Certified Public Accounting, a Certified Internal Auditor, and a Professional in Human Resources.  She was invited into membership in Beta Gamma Sigma both as an undergraduate and graduate student.
