Dr.
Henley is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Kennesaw State University, teaching in the areas of Organizational Behavior and Human Resources. She received a PhD. from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2005.  Dr. Henley also received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree in accounting from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1997 and a Master of Business Administration degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in 1998. Prior to joining Kennesaw State in August, 2006¸ Dr. Henley was a Visiting Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Arlington.

Her primary research interests have concentrated on pay compression, perceptions of pay fairness, and individual employee reactions to organizational compensation structures.  Additionally, her other research interests include organizational justice and managing conflict and diversity in team settings.  Dr. Henley has co–authored papers that have appeared in Organizational Research Methods, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Organizational Dynamics, and the Academy of Management Executive.  She has also presented papers at the annual meetings of the Academy of Management¸ the Southern Management Association¸ and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Prior to her doctoral studies¸ Dr. Henley worked as a financial analyst and costing manager at the corporate headquarters of a national transportation carrier.
