Biography: David Albert, native of Toledo, Ohio and husband of more than eighteen years, began attending Kennesaw State University in the summer 2003 term; and, has since distinguished himself among his peers through scholarship and community service. David maintained a four point grade average while completing his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management & Marketing in only three years. During that time, he has completed the University Honors Program and been inducted into the following academic societies: Golden Key National Honors Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Phi Eta Sigma, Phi Kappa Phi, Beta Gamma Sigma, and Blue Key National Honors Society, for which he held the position of chapter Vice President. David has twice won the distinguished University Scholars Award as the top student in his undergraduate field of study and the top student in Kennesaw State University Honors Program. Published during his term at KSU, David has contributed to advanced statistical studies under the guidance of professors Dr. Armen Tashchian and Dr. Gary Selden; while concurrently developing KSU's first television production and broadcast of Owl's sporting events. While completing his Masters degree in Business Administration in just 1 year, David continued involvement with KSU athletics beyond broadcasting by providing gratis tutoring services and game day operational support to the university's Sports Information Director.
