Prerequisite Override Request Site:

• Request Period:  The override request site will open Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. and remain open until Friday, May 23, 2008 at 3 p.m.
• Only override requests for SUMMER 2008 will be accepted during this period.
• Please remember that overrides are not automatically granted.  Your file will be reviewed, and a prerequisite override will be approved only if you have satisfactory preparation for the course you are requesting.
• Business majors must be accepted into the Coles College of Business before they will be allowed to register for any 4000-level business courses.
• Although you submit your override request online, it is processed by hand.  We process them in the order received, and we receive thousands of requests during registration.  Therefore, processing takes time, but should be completed within 2 business days.
• The override site will close on May 23, 2008 at 3 p.m. to allow time to process the submitted requests before the registration period closes.  Processing will not occur over the holiday weekend.  Override requests submitted in person at the Undergraduate Business Advising Center (BB 431) on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 will be processed if time allows.
• CLOSED class overrides are no longer handled through this website.  If you want to get into a CLOSED class, you must request the override from the Department Chair.  Most Department Chairs will not consider these requests until at least the second day of Drop-Add because they want you to try to get in yourself when someone drops.
